Feb 27th 1999
Go Informal won six of his 17 races inc the Champion Hurdle trial at Haydock and the Class 1 Long Distance Hurdle at Haydock. He was second at Cheltenham in what is currently known as the Ballymore Novice Hurdle.

Cyrus Darius

Cyrus Darius joined us following a bumper run and made his mark in his first three hurdle races, culminating with a win in the Top Novices Hurdle (G2) at Aintree’s Grand National meeting. A bit mixed since he has nonetheless won a further two hurdles (the Morebattle twice) as well as two races over fences.

Cloudy Dream
following success in the bumper at Carlisle

Cloudy Dream joined us unlaced and won two bumpers before winning a two novice hurdles. He was unlucky to be second in the Scottish Champion hurdle but improved a lot the following year winning three novice chases (inc. the Future Champions at Ayr) following a massive run behind Altior in the Arkle.

A joy to train and and homebred by his owner Peter Nelson Pete won two of his four bumpers before winning over hurdles and fences. He won a Fixed Brush hurdle, the Peter Marsh Chase and a Rowland Meyrick chase.

Bought for not a lot at the GoffsUk Spring Sale he won two bumpers before becoming the first English trained winner of the Cheltenham bumper as well as the first 4yr old winner. He won the flat but excelled over jumps winning the Class1 Fighting Fifth twice, a Christmas Hurdle and two Champion Hurdle trials.

Cape Tribulation
Denis O’Reagan going on to success at Cheltenham

Cape Tribulation won his first two bumpers before finished third in the Aintree Bumper. He then won two on the flat before winning over hurdles inc. the River Don Novice at Doncaster. He ran some cracking races and won the Pertemps Final at the Cheltenham festival before going on to achieve a notable double by winning at the Aintree Festival next time. He won a Rowland Meyrick and his biggest win came in the Grade 2 Argento Chase (now the Coxwold Chase).

TULLYMURRY TOFF (Eddie Callaghan) wins the Monkton Chase at Wetherby: Jan 13th, 2000
Tully won 11 of is 37 races despite not winning a bumper! He won 6 over hurdles with his biggest success coming in the Sandown Handicap Hurdle (C3).

SCHINKEN OTTO (Harry Haynes) going on to win at Sedgefield: Jan 11th, 2013
Bought to be a sprinter from the two year old breeze up sales (where he didn’t breeze…) Otto found his true calling as a two mile chaser eventually winning ten!He also won two on the flat albeit over a mile and a mile three. A joy to own and a very sound horse to train.

defied top weight to land Aintree’s Listed handicap hurdle under Harry Haynes

A lovely horse bred and owned by Horace Young he took a while to get going and didn’t win until his tenth race. He made up for it though with several wins over hurdles including a notable double at Cheltenham and Aintree under Harry Haynes.
